Dan Mannikko, DDS | Reno/Tahoe’s Neuromuscular, TMJ, and Cosmetic Dentist.
Dr. Dan Mannikko is a true Nevadan. He was born in Las Vegas, went to college at both the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the University of Nevada, Reno; studied at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) after dental school, and is now running a thriving practice and raising a family in beautiful Reno.
Before his path to dentistry, Dr. Mannikko served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Davidson at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. After three years, he returned to Nevada to attend UNLV and UNR, where he graduated with a degree in biology. After becoming a UNR Wolf Pack alumnus, Dr. Mannikko studied at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. degree in 1997.
Dr. Mannikko returned to Reno in 1997 to begin his professional career in private practice. He lives in Reno with his wife Catherine and their four daughters.
